BD, a global medical technology leader, seeks a Procurement Director for IT, Lab and R&D categories to drive global sourcing strategy and value-based supplier partnerships. Lead category teams, engage senior leaders, and deliver 3–5 year savings roadmaps with risk management and compliance.

Senior IT procurement role requires extensive contract negotiation experience with global suppliers, cross-functional leadership, and on-site presence in USA NJ (Franklin Lakes).

Qualifications

• Direct IT procurement experience with IT services, hardware and R&D/lab spend.
• Experience leading negotiations and transformations with global suppliers.
• Deep knowledge of IT categories: hardware, software, cloud, services, R&D.
• Understanding of cyber security, cloud, IoT, and AI/ML risk in IT sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Form global category teams and ensure effective category strategies.
• Develop 3–5 year savings roadmaps and value streams.
• Engage with C-suite stakeholders to align strategy with business goals.
• Create supplier selection and governance processes approved by stakeholders.
