Job summary

The Jewish Education Project is seeking a Director of Immersives and Cohorts in New York, NY to design and lead immersive Israel educator experiences. The role centers on weaving a pedagogical narrative, aligning with the Reimagining Israel Education Framework, and collaborating with Israeli experts and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years designing and facilitating professional development or educational travel, ideally in Israel education or Jewish education.
• Experience designing immersive, cohort-based programming from concept to delivery.
• Ability to collaborate with guides, local experts, and ground operators.
• Willingness to travel 6–10 weeks per year across multiple trips.
• Hebrew language ability is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design immersive educator experiences in Israel, including arc, objectives, and facilitation approach.
• Lead on-ground facilitation with licensed Israeli guides and experts.
• Coordinate with ground operator on itineraries and logistics; manage housing, transport and site access.
• Develop audience strategy and manage applications to build diverse cohorts.
• Ensure the Reimagining Israel Education Framework informs every trip.
