Job summary

The Jewish Education Project and RootOne seek a visionary Senior Managing Director of Israel Education to shape a national strategy spanning early childhood through immersive teen travel.

Reporting to the CEO and the RootOne Executive Director, this role leads a cross‑functional team, builds partnerships with educators and tour providers, and drives innovative Israel education initiatives across North America, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Strategic direction setting and ability to influence partners.
• Experience leading Israel and/or Jewish educational initiatives.
• Proven track record of designing impactful professional learning for educators.
• Ability to translate bold ideas into field-wide impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the interdisciplinary team across Jewish Ed Project and RootOne to advance a bold Israel education vision.
• Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for a seamless continuum of Israel learning.
• Define strategic priorities with senior leaders to drive organizational excellence.
• Design professional development, frameworks, and scalable learning models for educators.
• Build and maintain partnerships with educators, tour providers, and community leaders.
