Job summary

Mariner Wealth Advisors is seeking a Director of Investment Strategy to lead and shape the team’s approach to delivering comprehensive solutions. You will collaborate with the Managing Director to unite centralized investment functions—Research, OCIO, and Internal Strategies—with business units to structure allocations, advise on investment solutions, and produce client-ready outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in investments, wealth management, private banking, or related field.
• Proven expertise in allocation planning and structuring investments for diverse client objectives.
• Experience in client-facing investment discussions with UHNW clients and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Partner with advisors to develop investment and allocation proposals and support client consultations.
• Lead the creation of investment proposals, modeling, analytics, outputs, and messaging for client objectives.
• Coordinate between Investment Strategy team and internal strategies, across equity, fixed income, structured notes, options and private investments.
• Develop allocation models, advisor tools, resources, and investment collateral with the Managing Director and team.
• Represent Mariner Investments in client meetings across all segments, from affluent to UHNW clients and prospects.
• Mentor strategists and guide education/onboarding within the team.
• Stay informed on wealth management trends to anticipate client needs with innovative investment solutions.
