Job summary

Invesco invites a Director in Internal Consulting to lead high-impact transformation programs and build strong executive relationships. You will guide cross- functional teams, shape the practice, and advise senior leaders on strategic initiatives to drive meaningful change.

The role requires a strategic thinker and delivery expert with a proven ability to scale consulting teams in a global environment, while mentoring and developing talent for future growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in management consulting or internal transformation roles, ideally in financial services (asset management preferred).
• Proven ability to lead and scale consulting teams in a global, matrixed environment.
• Deep understanding of the Financial services and / or Asset management industry.
• Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels.
• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum).

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multi-regional consulting engagements across business and technology domains.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives (ELT/ELT+1), influencing decisions in both individual and group forums.
• Build and maintain a sustainable network of senior client relationships across the firm.
• Provide thought leadership and deep expertise across consulting domains including operating model, technology, data, regulatory, and strategy.
• Structure and manage highly complex programs, while also overseeing delivery by other ICO team members.
• Anticipate and address challenges in executive forums with confidence and credibility.
• Drive the evolution of the Internal Consulting practice by leading strategic initiatives and gaining leadership buy-in.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.
• Actively coach, mentor, and develop team members, with a track record of helping others achieve their potential.
