Job summary

Vizient, Inc. and its SG2 unit are seeking a senior healthcare strategy advisor to lead development of healthcare intelligence and service line insights.

  • Relevant degree preferred.
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience within hospital/health system, consulting, or healthcare company required.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular care, chronic disease management, imaging services, or related clinical service lines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize research into strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Summary: In this role, you will lead the development of healthcare intelligence and service line strategy insights that support clients in making informed growth and operational decisions. You will collaborate across Sg2 and Vizient teams to deliver thought leadership, strategic recommendations, and analytic-driven solutions focused on cardiovascular care, chronic disease management, imaging services, and emerging healthcare trends. You will apply market knowledge, research expertise, and strategic thinking to help shape the future of healthcare delivery while supporting innovative client solutions and industry-leading insights.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate strategic discussions and support healthcare organizations in evaluating growth opportunities and operational priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare trends, market dynamics, and service line strategy related to cardiovascular care, chronic disease management, imaging services, and related clinical areas.
  • Develop thought leadership content including publications, presentations, webinars, podcasts, briefings, and strategic insights.
  • Partner with account management teams and clients to deliver strategic presentations, facilitate discussions, and address service-related requests.
  • Translate healthcare trends and service line insights to support updates to proprietary forecasting and analytics tools, including the Impact of Change model.
  • Analyze healthcare market data, historical trends, and industry research to develop strategic recommendations and actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across consulting, analytics, spend management, and research functions to support integrated client solutions.
  • Present insights and strategic perspectives at client meetings, member events, network forums, and internal business meetings.
  • Contribute to the advancement of innovative healthcare strategy solutions through research, analysis, and industry engagement.
Qualifications

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and manage multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Willingness to travel.
Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $206,000.00. This position is also incentive eligible.
