Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking a Director of Integrated Electrical Systems to lead electrical engineering, controls, power systems, and electrical manufacturing.

The role owns electrical realization from design to factory commissioning and lifecycle support, ensuring traceability and quality across the platform. You will drive power distribution, automation, cable/harness design, and integration, while advancing standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience considered.
• 5+ years managing electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, and systems integration from design through production.
• Experience creating functional strategies, objectives, budgets, and procedures.
• Deep knowledge of electrical sub-functions and overall department function.
• Industrial electrical experience spanning power distribution, automation, controls, and assembly.
• Experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, switchgear, PLC/HMI, instrumentation, harness design, and acceptance testing.
• Ability to set technical standards, processes, inspection procedures, quality controls, traceability, and production docs.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461 as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering, controls engineering, power-systems engineering, manufacturing engineering, and integration.
• Own power distribution, switchgear, PLC/HMI, instrumentation, harness design, and equipment integration.
• Oversee acceptance testing, commissioning, production release, and lifecycle support for electrical systems.
• Manage electrical manufacturing engineering, cable, rack, integration, and hook-up assembly.
• Establish standards, processes, inspection procedures, and documentation for mission-critical electrical production.
• Lead the path to UL 508A certification and IPC/WHMA-A-620 implementation.
• Apply applicable NFPA and IEC/IEEE standards for safety and performance.
• Integrate power, automation, controls, and communications into reliable systems.
