Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee the Electrical Assembly work center in Inglewood, CA. You will manage personnel, processes, and safety while driving efficiency and quality in a defense manufacturing setting.

The role requires 3–5 years in electrical assembly with automation exposure, plus a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines and maintain compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field or related experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical assembly and engineering, with automation focus.
• Experience in R&D and/or production manufacturing, with exposure to additive manufacturing technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and government regulations (J-STD-001).
• Experience leading teams and coordinating fabrication/integration of wire harnesses, connectors, and PCBs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Electrical Assembly work center, directing personnel and processes.
• Control and optimize work load and equipment usage in electrical assembly.
• Propose and implement manufacturing process improvements for efficiency and quality.
• Ensure on-time product delivery and adherence to engineering specs.
• Hire, train, and mentor personnel; maintain safe, clean work environment.
