Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of demonstrated capability preparing schematics, panel layouts, and wiring documentation for equipment or controls systems.
• Proficiency with electrical CAD or drafting tools and disciplined drawing, revision, and document-control practices.
• Ability to select and document components and maintain bills of materials, specifications, drawing packages, and configuration-controlled records.
• Clear technical communication, practical problem-solving, and effective collaboration across design, manufacturing, and test functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop equipment and controls designs and documentation from requirements and engineering direction through release.
• Create and revise schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, cable and wire schedules, and related design records.
• Select electrical components and prepare bills of material, specifications, drawing packages, and revision-controlled documentation.
• Coordinate design interfaces with controls, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• Support prototype and production builds by resolving documentation, installation, fit, and function issues and processing design changes.
