Responsibilities

• Develop a vision for the Institute's role in infectious animal diseases and TAMUS.
• Lead faculty, staff, and students to advance research and extension missions.
• Manage human and financial resources, including proposal development and fundraising.
• Represent the Institute to state, federal, international agencies, and industry partners.
• Collaborate with TAMUS administration to plan initiatives and secure funding.
• Oversee outreach and professional training programs and serve as principal investigator on institute projects.
