Job summary

The role requires a DO degree, board certification in a primary care specialty, Colorado medical license, and significant academic leadership experience.

Qualifications

• DO degree required.
• Board certification in a primary care specialty (family medicine, internal medicine, or pediatrics).
• Eligible for Colorado medical license and UNC COM malpractice insurer.
• Minimum 3 years of academic faculty experience; 5+ preferred.
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, evaluation, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and implement programs for the Department of Primary Care.
• Oversee all faculty and staff in the department.
• Participate in curricular development and teaching across the curriculum.
• Collaborate on curriculum with chairs, faculty, and administration.
• Lead faculty development, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
