Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required or equivalent
• Typically 10+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles with at least 4 years in a similar position
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities
• Experience leading infrastructure initiatives across complex environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with industry trends and technologies

Job description

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the design, implementation, and optimization of infrastructure solutions, ensuring they align with the organization's objectives.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop infrastructure strategies and roadmaps that support business growth.
• Lead a team of infrastructure architects, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation.
• Evaluate and recommend infrastructure technologies, platforms, and services to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Oversee the performance, reliability, and security of infrastructure components, taking proactive measures to address issues.
• Assess and manage risks associated with infrastructure projects and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and best practices.
• Foster strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure quality service delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 10+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in infrastructure architecture or related roles
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects
• Proven leadership and project management capabilities
• Previous experience in large-scale infrastructure projects
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Continuous learner that stays abreast with industry and technology

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field a plus
• Relevant certifications (i.e., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect)

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $153,100 - $317,900.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
