Our adaptability, agility, and forward‑thinking ethos distinguish us in the ever‑evolving business landscape.

Pacific has been exclusively retained to support our client, a global operations‑driven services organization with more than 30,000 employees across multiple regions. The company operates within a highly time‑critical and customer‑centric environment, delivering essential services through a large‑scale international network while undergoing continued growth, modernization, and technology transformation initiatives.

The organization is seeking a dynamic and accomplished Regional Head of IT for the Americas, based in Virginia, to provide end‑to‑end leadership across the regional technology landscape. Acting as the senior‑most IT leader in the region, this individual will oversee the full spectrum of IT responsibilities, including business engagement, strategy and roadmapping, applications, infrastructure, service delivery, vendor management, budgeting, and technology transformation.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted partner to regional business leadership, translating business priorities into technology initiatives while ensuring reliable operations, strong service performance, and alignment with global IT direction. This role requires a well‑rounded IT executive who combines strategic thinking, operational leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities, and who can effectively balance growth, transformation, and day‑to‑day operational excellence in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the regional IT organization and ensure the successful execution of technology roadmaps, solutions, and transformation initiatives aligned with business and global IT priorities.
  • Own end-to-end regional IT leadership across applications, infrastructure, service delivery, support, cybersecurity, vendors, and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure the delivery and performance of all regional IT services, including applications, infrastructure, workplace technologies, and user support, with a strong focus on reliability and business continuity.
  • Act as the primary interface between business and IT, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and translating business priorities into scalable technology solutions.
  • Partner closely with regional leadership to identify opportunities, prioritize investments, and align technology initiatives with business objectives and growth plans.
  • Drive demand management, roadmap planning, and investment prioritization across the region, balancing business needs, resources, risks, and costs.
  • Serve as the key escalation point for critical technology, service, and vendor‑related matters, ensuring high service quality and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with global IT, architecture, and operations teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards while meeting regional business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, enable digital transformation, and leverage emerging technologies to create measurable business value.
  • Manage regional IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service performance to ensure effective and cost‑efficient delivery.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high‑performing IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership and business‑facing technology roles.
  • 10+ years of people leadership experience, including managing regional, multi‑site, or multinational IT organizations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience leading end‑to‑end IT organizations, spanning applications, infrastructure, service delivery, support, vendors, and technology transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success defining and executing regional IT strategies and technology roadmaps aligned with broader business and global objectives.
  • Strong track record partnering with senior business leaders and operating effectively within complex, matrixed, multinational environments.
  • Experience managing IT budgets, vendor ecosystems, service levels, and operational performance.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise IT, including applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, service management, and digital transformation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30–40%.
