Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks a Director of Operations to lead national electrical infrastructure projects with a focus on safety, profitability, and operational excellence.

You will partner with the VP and executive team to set strategy, direct regional teams, and oversee day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include managing multi-project execution, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies, and delivering financial performance through effective resource planning and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 15+ years in power utility, industrial, or electrical construction with regional leadership.
• Proven project management and operational leadership experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple levels of the organization.
• Valid driver’s license and compliance with safety policies and environment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead divisional operations to align with the strategic vision set by executive leadership.
• Oversee multi-project, multi-region operations with focus on safety, revenue, margin, and production goals.
• Drive profitability through operational efficiency, resource optimization, and performance accountability.
• Develop and mentor high-performing teams across operations and project leadership.
