Job summary

Oxfam America, Inc. seeks a Director of Inclusive Value Chains in Boston, MA. Lead and expand the IVP portfolio, oversee grants, and develop corporate engagement strategies in food, beverage, and agribusiness sectors.

You will supervise four staff, coordinate with country offices, fundraise to secure $500,000 annually, and participate in planning, budgeting, and evaluation. Travel up to 20% is required.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience developing and executing multi-stakeholder corporate engagement strategies.
• Eight (8) years of experience influencing corporate policies and practices in the food sector.
• Eight (8) years of experience leading large-scale, multi-country sustainability or market transformation programs.
• Eight (8) years of experience leading corporate initiatives addressing ESG dimensions.
• Eight (8) years of experience in shareholder advocacy and corporate campaigning in the food sector.
• Eight (8) years of experience coordinating among diverse stakeholder groups.
• Eight (8) years of experience managing $1M+ budgets.
• Eight (8) years of experience supervising professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and oversight of the Inclusive Value Chains portfolio.
• Oversee IVC grants to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review new IVC initiatives and fundraising proposals.
• Lead fundraising efforts to secure $500,000 annually for IVC programming.
• Coordinate with country offices and engage corporate accounts in relevant sectors.
• Represent the organization in external speaking engagements.

Education

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Economic Psychology, Psychology, International Development, or a closely related field
