Job summary

CSL Behring seeks a Senior Director of Immunology Translational and Clinical Research to lead hands-on clinical development activities in one or more immunology disease areas, with a bench-to-bedside mindset. Qualifications

• MD or DO with clinical experience in immunology-related areas.
• Hands-on experience translating preclinical data into clinical strategy.
• Experience in drug development within biotech/pharma/academic settings.
• Hands-on experience in preclinical to first-in-disease programs in immunology.
• Deep scientific expertise in autoimmune/inflammatory disease mechanisms.
• Active network in rheumatology, neuroimmunology, or dermatology communities.
• Proven ability to evaluate assets and support BD due diligence and TPP drafting.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific leadership and internal advocacy for one or more immunology disease areas, prioritizing targets.
• Shape clinical development plans and translational endpoints with cross-functional teams.
• Lead end-to-end asset progression from ideation through first-in-disease designation.
• Collaborate with discovery, translational medicine, clinical development and BD to advance portfolio.
• Develop disease-relevant biomarkers and stratification strategies for early programs.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions and scientific communications.
