Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Director-level leader for the Epidemiology Pipeline in Immunology. The role focuses on scientific oversight, study design, and global opportunities, with responsibilities spanning proposal development, client engagement, and regulatory alignment.

The candidate will collaborate with RWLP management and other functions to advance post-marketing safety commitments and real-world evidence initiatives, while guiding epidemiologic study designs and analyses.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Statistics, or Public Health (Masters; Doctorate preferred).
• Deep knowledge of study designs; familiarity with post-marketing and late phase studies preferred.
• Basic knowledge of statistical programming languages (SAS, R, Python).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong team-oriented abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a scientific resource for RWLP management and company leadership across multiple scientific areas.
• Leads development and delivery of project proposals, bid defenses, and capability presentations.
• Provides scientific oversight of selected projects to meet timelines, budgets, quality, and satisfaction.
• Oversees study start-up and ongoing study management; develops protocols, CRFs, SAPs, plans, and reports.
• Develops trainings on epidemiologic designs and guidelines for RWLP/Company.
• Builds organizational capacity and improves processes for non-traditional site management tasks.
• Develops abstracts and authorship for publications and industry presentations.
