Role Overview

The Sr. Director, IKC Operations supervises daily clinical operations within Southeast Texas (e.g., Houston and Austin). Responsibilities include overseeing managers, improving systems, and achieving operational goals with P&L accountability for over $300M in medical costs. The role involves partnering with nephrology groups to meet shared objectives.

Essential Responsibilities

1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead performance development, manage team performance, retention, and relations. Foster a culture emphasizing patient safety, compliance, and outcomes.
2. Operational Oversight and Improvement: Drive continuous improvements, monitor clinical and operational metrics, participate in business development, and lead strategic initiatives.
3. Physician Engagement and Growth: Expand relationships with physicians, lead operational conversions, and address growth priorities.
4. Collaboration with Dialysis Business: Partner in strategic calls, oversee RN performance, meet regularly with leaders, and support cross-functional analyses.
5. Program Management and Compliance: Ensure regulatory compliance, monitor risk management, and oversee quality assurance.
6. Budget Oversight: Manage department budget, evaluate cost-effectiveness, and analyze projects for financial impact.

Qualifications and Experience

• 8+ years in operational leadership managing regional teams
• Experience with budgets and metrics management
• Healthcare experience, especially in value-based care, preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Prior P&L management experience
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
