Job summary
The START Center for Cancer Research in Atlanta, GA seeks a Director, Investigational Drug Section to oversee IDS operations and fulfill clinical pharmacist duties. Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Current State license.
- Experience in hospital/clinic pharmacy.
- Familiarity with sterile compounding for chemotherapy.
- Proficiency with EMR and pharmacy software.
Responsibilities
- Oversee IDS operations and staff at the Atlanta site.
- Verify medication orders and ensure eligibility criteria.
- Supervise preparation and dispensing of IDS and chemotherapy meds.
- Provide pharmaceutical care and patient education.
- Maintain drug inventories and documentation.
- Review new protocols and maintain reports.
- Enter accurate orders in EMR and maintain patient home meds.
