Riot Platforms is seeking a Director of Identity & Access Management (IAM) to lead strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations of its enterprise IAM program. This remote role collaborates with Cybersecurity, IT, Cloud, Data Center Ops, and People Operations.

As Riot scales AI/HPC and data center operations, the IAM leader will drive Zero Trust, least privilege, identity governance, and automation, while ensuring SOX, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 controls. Travel to Riot sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in cybersecurity or IAM leadership.
• Proven ability to build or transform an enterprise IAM program.
• Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, identity governance, PAM and lifecycle management.
• Experience securing hybrid on-premise and cloud environments.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute Riot’s IAM strategy and roadmap across identity types.
• Own the architecture and security of Microsoft Entra ID including SSO and MFA.
• Mature Privileged Access Management and minimize standing admin privileges.
• Establish IGA capabilities for joiner/mover/leaver and access reviews.
• Implement least privilege and RBAC across enterprise environments.
• Govern service accounts, machine identities, and non-human identities.
• Secure third-party access and automate IAM workflows.
• Define IAM standards, patterns, and security requirements.
• Partner with Cybersecurity Operations to detect identity-based attacks.
• Communicate program maturity and risks to leadership.
