OKX is seeking a Director of Human Resources Business Partner for its San Jose office. This strategic role is essential in scaling high-performing teams, focusing on employee engagement, talent development, and driving organizational growth within a fast-paced crypto environment. This role is key to scaling and supporting high-performing teams. As a strategic HR partner, you’ll collaborate with leadership on engagement, talent development, diversity, and performance management while enhancing the employee experience. Using data and creativity, you’ll drive organizational growth and help build a world-class People & Product team.
Advise and support leaders and employees on company policies, values, and HR programs (benefits, compensation, and policies) to ensure consistency and compliance
Design and implement programs that enhance the employee experience, focusing on development, career growth, and engagement
Coach and train managers to foster strong leadership, effective communication, and a culture of feedback and recognition, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards
Develop and execute strategies that promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment
Oversee and maintain the employee handbook and culture playbook, ensuring alignment with company values and regulatory requirements
Lead and support the performance management process, driving a culture of continuous improvement and growth
Partner with Recruiting and Marketing to showcase the company’s unique culture and attract top talent
Analyze employee engagement survey (EES) data to identify trends and implement impactful initiatives based on feedback
Bachelor’s degree is required
Mandarin proficiency is required
10+ years of HRBP experience, ideally supporting product and engineering teams in tech, fintech, or financial services industries
Deep expertise in employment law, compensation, talent development, organizational planning, recruitment, employee relations, and engagement
Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, and emotional intelligence to build trust and influence across all levels
Strong ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures with a global mindset
Growth-oriented, adaptable, and objective with high integrity
Proven ability to motivate, influence, and coach leaders and teams
Excellent organizational and project management skills with a strategic mindset
Experience in a global high-tech company

The base salary range for this role varies by location and is in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws:
$262,000 - $315,000
The salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. In addition to the salary, a performance bonus and long-term incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, as well as a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
