Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a people strategy that proactively addresses business needs by partnering with leaders to create and execute an effective organizational design that attracts, develops, and retains high-performing employees focused on results. Provide a high level of HR support rooted in progressive service excellence and internal consulting.
- Help develop and drive inclusion goals and progress for all client groups.
- Interpret and advise on HR policy; maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management; ensure compliance with all applicable employment policies, regulations, and laws.
- Collaborate with the shared services team to provide strategic business partnering and responsive, quality service to all employees within the client group; share knowledge and best practices to enhance HR effectiveness across the organization.
- Provide expert advice and counsel to leaders on all organization and human resources issues.
- Lead the implementation of key HR initiatives and employee lifecycle activities (e.g., learning programs, compensation planning, performance management, talent planning) for the client group.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies to meet the needs of client groups, including seasonal and agency hiring.
- Offer day-to-day coaching and performance management guidance; provide leadership coaching to key executives; work with managers and employees to build strong work relationships, resulting in high morale, productivity, and retention.
- Utilize data and analytics to inform business decisions and assess organizational effectiveness; develop and implement plans to address identified issues.
- Champion and execute progressive HR practices.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in management roles.
- Deep understanding of core HR functions such as staffing, employee relations, compliance, investigations, compensation, performance management, and leadership development.
- Extensive knowledge of California employment law, including hiring, EEO, EEOC, wage and hour laws, and labor relations.
- Proven experience with inclusion tools and strategies.
- Strategic thinker capable of translating concepts into actionable plans.
- Consultative and authentic relationship-building style.
- Ability to influence decision-making, make tough decisions, and communicate difficult messages effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience handling employee relations matters effectively.

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience in digital, entertainment, or sports industries; familiarity with studio and broadcast operations preferred.
- Experience supporting organizations with large contingent workforces.

- Occasional travel required.
Expected Hours of Work:
- Flexible schedule, including occasional weekends and holidays during peak periods.
$140,000 - $180,000 USD
Note: In-person presence at an NFL office or stadium is required; remote or hybrid options are not available. No relocation assistance provided.
