Job summary

Honeywell Technologies is seeking a Human Resources Director in Charlotte, NC on a hybrid schedule. You will develop, implement, and own HR and talent strategies aligned with corporate objectives to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

You will partner with senior leaders, drive talent acquisition, leadership development, employee experience, and organizational effectiveness, and shape the workforce for sustainable growth and a culture of excellence and inclusion.

Job Description

As a Human Resources Director here at Honeywell, you will develop, implement, and own HR and talent strategies that align with our corporate objectives. You will partner with and influence leaders to lead transformational initiatives in talent acquisition, talent management, employee experience, and organization development/effectiveness.

You will report directly to our Sr. HR Director, for the East Region, and you'll work out of our Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the organization by shaping the future of its workforce and fostering a culture of excellence and inclusivity. Your strategic leadership role will ensure that Honeywell attracts and retains top talent, develops its employees, and enhances their engagement and well-being.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a strategic HR leader and trusted advisor to senior business and functional leaders, developing and executing people strategies that drive business performance, organizational effectiveness, and long-term growth objectives.
• Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of HR professionals fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional internal customer support.
• Drive HR functional excellence by establishing scalable HR programs, processes, and service delivery models that enhance employee experience, manager effectiveness, and organizational outcomes across the business.
• Develop and execute an integrated talent strategy that provides a holistic view of workforce needs, enabling proactive solutions in talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, capability building, and retention.
• Champion leadership development and team effectiveness by coaching leaders, strengthening management capabilities, and building succession pipelines for critical roles across the organization.
• Leverage people analytics, workforce insights, and HR metrics to identify trends, inform decision-making, measure organizational health, and drive data-driven talent and business outcomes.
• Ensure alignment and execution of key HR priorities across the function by integrating talent, culture, employee relations, engagement, and workforce planning strategies to support business transformation and growth.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• 8+ years of experience in HR as a business partner or in a corporate-level role.
• HR functional excellence with experience as a generalist/business partner
• Proven track record of driving HR initiatives and delivering results as a senior HR leader within a global matrixed organization.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
