Job summary

Xenon is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support the SVP Sales & Marketing and the leadership team in Boston. You will translate commercial priorities into people, talent, and organizational strategies, and lead the evolution of the Sales & Marketing function.

You will own workforce planning, onboarding, succession, and performance management, advise on structure for a 100+ person sales organization, and collaborate across HR disciplines to enable rapid growth while maintaining

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree and/or HR certification preferred.
10+ years HRBP/HR leadership experience in biotech/pharma/life sciences.
Experience supporting Commercial org through product launches.
Experience with rapid growth and organizational evolution.
Experience in small/mid-size biotech/pharma companies.
Strong business acumen and cross-functional interdependencies awareness.
Excellent influencing, coaching, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Onsite Boston work 2 days a week; some international travel.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HRBP to the SVP, Sales & Marketing and Leadership Team.
Translate commercial priorities into people, talent, org, and workforce strategies.
Lead build-out and evolution of Xenon's Sales and Marketing organizations.
Advise leaders on org structure, workforce planning, leadership capability, and readiness.
HR Lead for Launch Readiness Core Team.
Represent HR in cross-functional launch planning and align commercial priorities with HR deliverables.
Execute sales hiring strategy to build a 100+ person Sales organization.
Ensure onboarding and retention of the sales team.
Provide HR leadership on Salesforce sizing, IC strategy, field benefits, and field infrastructure.
Support organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
Lead commercial scaling initiatives, org structure development, capability building, and talent planning.
Coordinate launch-related activities across TA, Total Rewards, HR Ops, L&D, Compliance, and Legal.
Partner cross-functionally to execute people initiatives.
Enable new and evolving business systems, processes, and infrastructure.
Use data-driven insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Champion Xenon's culture and values; ensure HR policies align with business objectives.
Develop short- and long-term objectives for the function; plan and manage budgets.
Recruit, lead, develop, coach, and evaluate direct reports; travel as needed.
Some international travel may be required.
