Job summary

FTI Consulting seeks a Director for our Human Capital Transactions & Transformation Services team based in New York. This role focuses on driving value in Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Transformations, leveraging expertise in HR functions and organizational design.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in Human Capital Consulting. Responsibilities include HR due diligence, leading project teams, and maintaining client relationships. Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant post-graduate experience in Human Capital Consulting.
• Experience in pre-sign HR due diligence, post-sign HR stand-up or integration execution.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and internal project teams across M&A and transformation lifecycles.
• Identify synergies within HR functions during merger integrations.
• Design and implement target operating models across HR functions.
• Develop and maintain relationships to identify sales opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
