Job summary

The Manager, VVHQ Events at Vital Voices Global Partnership will report to the Chief External Relations Officer and lead the planning and execution of internal convenings and headquarters programming. Based in Washington, DC with a hybrid schedule, this role ensures exceptional experiences for women leaders, partners, and staff.

Responsibilities include steering VVHQ event portfolio, coordinating logistics, budgets, venue use, and collaborating with program teams to advance leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or preferred in a related field.
• 4–8 years of experience leading complex event portfolios.
• Experience leading executive level conferences and large-scale events.
• Experience managing event budgets and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong strategic planning, project management, and organizational leadership skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for planning and execution of VVHQ internal events and headquarters programming.
• Partner with Leadership and Social Impact and other program teams to deliver high-impact convenings.
• Oversee budgets, run of show templates, production schedules, and emergency response plans for VVHQ events.
• Develop and oversee event management systems, playbooks, and vendor management.
