Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, or a related field is required.
• 5–7 years of experience in safety and security management.
• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements security policies and procedures to ensure safety of all hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the hospital's security staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Monitors and enforces compliance with safety regulations to meet local, state, and federal requirements.
• Coordinates emergency response and drills to ensure staff readiness for various scenarios.
• Collaborates with hospital leadership to assess security risks and improvements.
• Investigates and reports on security incidents with appropriate follow-up actions.
• Oversees maintenance of security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarms.
• Liaises with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Develops security awareness programs for staff and visitors.
