Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements security policies to ensure safety of personnel, patients and visitors.
• Manages day-to-day operations of security staff including hiring, training and scheduling.
• Monitors compliance with local, state and federal safety requirements.
• Coordinates emergency response and drills to ensure staff readiness.
• Collaborates with hospital leadership to assess risks and plan improvements.
• Investigates and reports security incidents with appropriate follow-up.
• Maintains security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms).
• Liaises with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Oversees security awareness programs for staff and visitors.
