Job summary

MedSpace Services seeks a Director of Facilities to lead daily hospital facilities operations, creating a clean and safe environment in accordance with policy and regulations. You will hire, train, and counsel staff across EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, and related departments to meet goals.

This full-time, day-shift leadership role requires expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boilers, and safety management, plus a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years hospital experience in Plant Operations leadership.
• Knowledge of hospital associated codes.
• Experience supervising EVS, Security, Grounds, Biomed, etc.
• Knowledge of facility buildings, equipment, and utilities.
• Valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of assigned facilities to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Hires, trains, and counsels staff on performance, goals and objectives.
