Job summary

El Camino Health Medical Network seeks a Director of Hospital Based Programs to lead non-clinical operations, financial strategy, quality initiatives, and program growth for hospital-based services, including Hospital Medicine and Palliative Care.

Reporting to the Vice President of Clinic Operations, you will collaborate with clinical leaders to optimize patient throughput, improve financial performance, and ensure high-reliability care across inpatient and community settings while expanding

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of progressively responsible hospital leadership experience.
At least 3 years in a director-level role overseeing operations, finance, and strategy.
Experience leading hospitalist programs or inpatient medicine service lines.
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field.
Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with Operations and hospital leadership to execute strategic initiatives.
Identify, evaluate and develop new hospital-based programs and services.
Lead growth, redesign and optimization of programs to improve access and outcomes.
Cultivate physician relationships to enhance engagement and alignment.
Develop business cases, staffing models and financial projections.
Monitor quality goals and implement improvement initiatives.
