Job summary

Fincantieri Marinette Marine, a Fincantieri Marine Group company, is seeking a Director of Technical Projects at our Marinette, WI location.

The Director oversees the full lifecycle of HM&E systems, serves as the primary technical liaison with the Customer, NAVSEA and classification authorities, and coordinates technical modifications while partnering with Program Management and Technical Directors on change approvals. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Own the technical execution of HM&E systems, ensuring technical integrity while managing scope, engineering deliverables, cost, schedule, quality, and contractual milestones.
• Coordinate engineering activities, approvals, documentation, and testing through all program phases from proposal to delivery.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities; oversee baseline changes, ECPs, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and HM&E financial performance.
• Serve as the primary HM&E liaison across engineering, supply chain, OEMs, customers, and regulatory authorities to ensure contractual compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical execution of Hull, Mechanical & Electrical (HM&E) systems across the full lifecycle.
• Support program phases from proposal through design, construction, testing, and delivery.
• Identify & manage risks, changes, and technical issue resolution for HM&E.
• Coordinate stakeholders and customer interface with NAVSEA and classification authorities.
