Job summary

ExpandED Schools is seeking a Director, Tutoring Implementation in New York City to lead a team of Program Managers delivering high-impact tutoring initiatives. You will coordinate with schools, districts and tutor providers, shaping program design, implementation, and continuous improvement to reach students citywide.

The role requires a strong track record in program management, team supervision, and collaboration with public schools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related experience with progressive growth.
• Experience in program management and supervising a team in public schools or tutoring programs.
• Strong cultural competence and ability to work with diverse communities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop systems and materials to support continuous improvement and program management.
• Supervise and build capacity of a team of five Program Managers.
• Collaborate on solving problems to improve citywide high-impact tutoring.
• Design and implement rubrics to assess implementation quality and guide improvement plans.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports to ExpandED leaders, funders, and DOE leaders.
• Partner with ExpandED research to ensure data collection systems are robust.
