Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Director, Team Health Education Development and Special Projects to lead strategic education initiatives and ensure regulatory compliance across Team Health. The role collaborates with VPs and Directors to design programs, oversee orientation, and drive competency assessments.

Responsibilities include developing education curricula, monitoring OSHA/NJDOHSS/CDCs/TJC standards, managing performance metrics, and coordinating with SMEs and vendors for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• 7+ years progressively responsible healthcare experience.
• 5+ years management/leadership experience.
• 3+ years in education/program design.
• 3+ years regulatory standards and compliance (OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC).
• Project management, process improvement and strategic planning experience.
• Data management, analysis and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist VPs and Directors with strategic plan and annual goals.
• Develop and implement education programs and competency assessment.
• Oversee team member orientation and ongoing education.
• Ensure regulatory standards are integrated into training materials.
• Monitor OSHA, NJDOHSS, CDC, TJC and other standards changes.
• Manage staff competencies, skills checklists, and remediation.
• Lead education and development programs to meet strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with SMEs and external vendors to deliver training.
• Oversee data collection, analysis and reporting on education metrics.
• Lead project management disciplines for on-time delivery.
