Job summary

McKesson Ventures seeks a strategic partner to generate insights, produce high-quality collateral, and build relationships across McKesson and external ecosystems. The role focuses on market trends, portfolio development, and communicating a compelling point of view.

The candidate will own the full content lifecycle, from research framing to executive-ready deliverables, working with senior leaders across the Ventures Platform in a flexible, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare management consulting, venture capital platform/portfolio development, or a healthcare startup environment.
• Direct experience in pharma tech or health tech preferred; familiarity with McKesson core verticals is a plus.
• Ability to own day-to-day work product with limited oversight; strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Proven ability to develop strategic relationships and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Generate insights by monitoring market developments and trends in assigned segments.
• Create high-quality presentations, newsletters, blogs, and other thought leadership collateral.
• Build relationships with priority stakeholders and prep senior team for external engagements.
• Support portfolio development activities, including deal design input and relationship facilitation.
• Manage external presence and content, including LinkedIn posts and event planning.
