About the Role

Sodexo is seeking a Director, Health & Safety to support regional segments with leadership, continual improvement, regulatory compliance, regional coordination, and fostering a zero-harm culture.

This is a remote position, ideally based in Alabama, Atlanta Georgia, Florida, or St. Louis Missouri. The role requires approximately 25% travel.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a regional safety team, developing and implementing safety programs across multiple states.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support, develop, and implement Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.
  • Oversee safety initiatives, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and collaborate with managers to ensure safety standards are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in occupational health & safety, risk control, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • Experience leading safety teams and managing safety programs.
