Job summary

Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network (DWIHN) seeks a Director of Special Projects to lead Health Home initiatives, including Behavioral Health Home, Opioid Health Home, and CCBHC. You will supervise staff, develop policies, and coordinate with MDHHS to ensure program excellence in care coordination and chronic disease management.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
• Five (5) years of full-time paid professional post Bachelor’s degree experience in a human service, social service, mental health or behavioral health setting.
• Three (3) years of full-time paid professional experience in Community Mental Health programs.
• One (1) year of full-time paid professional experience with Behavioral Health Homes or related experience.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License with safe driving record.
• Vaccination for COVID-19 may be required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and ongoing oversight of Behavioral Health Home, Opioid Health Home and CCBHC.
• Supervises staff and develops policies and procedures.
• Coordinates health home services with providers and MDHHS staff/contractors.
• Leads data collection, reporting and quality improvement.
• Ensures compliance with certification processes and standards.
• Represents DWIHN in various forums and collaborates with units.
