Descripción del empleo

US Biopharmaceutical Industry | Neuroscience | Commercial Education
The Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing, global biopharmaceutical organisation entering an exciting period of commercial expansion, with significant investment in its neuroscience portfolio and upcoming product launches.

We are seeking an experienced Director, HCP Training & Education to lead the development and execution of healthcare professional education strategies supporting an important upcoming launch.

This is a highly visible position offering the opportunity to shape how healthcare professionals are educated, trained and engaged, working closely with commercial leadership, medical affairs, marketing and external clinical experts.

We are particularly interested in candidates who have built and managed large-scale HCP education programmes across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, medtech or other procedure-driven healthcare environments.

Previous experience in a specific therapeutic area is not essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive HCP training and education strategy, supporting launch readiness and ongoing commercialisation.
  • Lead the design and delivery of peer-to-peer education programmes, including speaker bureaus, faculty development and HCP engagement initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of educational content, training materials, speaker decks and clinical learning programmes.
  • Build and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinical experts and external faculty.
  • Lead education strategy and execution across medical conferences, congresses, workshops and live educational events.
  • Develop scalable education programmes, including in-person, digital and, where appropriate, hands‑on clinical training.
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Regulatory and Compliance to ensure programmes meet business objectives and applicable standards.
  • Manage external agencies, vendors, budgets and programme performance.
  • Establish meaningful KPIs to measure educational effectiveness, HCP engagement and programme impact.
Experience Required

We are looking for a commercially minded education leader with experience developing and delivering HCP-facing programmes.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
  • Significant experience in HCP Education, Professional Education, Medical Education, Clinical Education or Commercial Training.
  • Experience developing and executing peer-to-peer education strategies, speaker programmes or faculty-led training initiatives.
  • Strong exposure to KOL engagement, congress strategy and educational content development.
  • Experience working within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, medtech or procedural healthcare markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex programmes, budgets, external partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting product launches, commercial readiness or new product introductions.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with the ability to execute programmes at scale.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills
Therapeutic Area Experience

Previous migraine, neurotoxin or neuroscience experience is not required.

We welcome candidates from a wide range of therapeutic areas and technologies, including:
  • Medical devices and surgical technologies
  • Neuromodulation and pain management
  • Cardiovascular and interventional medicine
  • Orthopaedics and procedural medicine
  • Injectable therapies and drug delivery
  • Specialty pharmaceuticals and biotechnology

The priority is finding someone who understands how to build effective, scalable HCP education programmes, rather than someone with experience in one specific product or therapeutic area.

Why Consider This Opportunity?
  • Opportunity to play a central role in an important upcoming commercial launch.
  • Significant ownership of national HCP education strategy and execution.
  • High visibility across commercial and medical leadership.
  • Ability to build and shape educational programmes rather than simply maintain existing initiatives.
  • Exposure to an expanding neuroscience portfolio with opportunities for future growth.
  • Competitive compensation and long-term incentives.
