Job summary

Amp Americas LLC is seeking a Director of Corporate Development & Finance to lead financial modeling, due diligence, and strategic planning supporting the CFO. The role spans multiple domains including accounting, business development, legal, and operations to identify growth opportunities and manage capital markets activities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deal structuring, quantitative analysis, and leadership, with a passion for renewable fuels and energy transitions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in finance or MBA (preferred).
• 10 years of related business, finance, or investment banking experience (required).
• Experience with debt financing and project finance (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and precision (required).
• Advanced Excel modeling skills (required).
• Advanced PowerPoint skills (required).
• Experience with AI for finance and coding (preferred).
• Deal structuring experience (preferred).
• Proven track record of delivering results and complex negotiations (required).
• Strong interpersonal and cross‑functional collaboration skills (required).
• Ability to manage multiple work streams independently (required).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking capabilities (required).
• Knowledge of legal and financial implications in deals (required).
• Interest in energy/renewable fuels (required).

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct due diligence activities.
• Coordinate with Corporate Development and other departments to execute strategy.
• Support CFO on strategic finance initiatives.
• Structure and negotiate commercial relationships with partners.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Build relationships with sponsors, service providers, and teams.
• Provide quarterly/annual updates on competitors and acquisition targets.
• Support growth initiatives and overall corporate goals.
