Day to Day

As Director, Online Marketing, you will lead a Growth Marketing team responsible for driving SMB advertiser growth across a portfolio of marketing channels. You will set the strategic direction for how each channel contributes to company-level growth goals, and you will empower your team to iterate and drive measurable results.

You will partner closely with Product, Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Data Science, and Engineering (e.g., BT&T) teams to build aligned, full-funnel plans that move advertisers from top-of-funnel awareness through to bottom-of-funnel conversion and spend growth. This includes optimizing budget across channels and goals, building business cases for incremental experimentation and investment, and shaping the creative and product experiences that drive performance in each channel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a Growth Marketing team, with individuals owning one or more marketing channels in service of company-level growth goals

  • Build and align cross-functional growth plans with Product, Strategy, Marketing, Creative, Data Science, and Engineering (e.g., BT&T) partners to drive SMB advertiser acquisition, engagement, and spend growth

  • Own full-funnel strategy — from top-of-funnel channel tactics through bottom-of-funnel conversion paths — to maximize advertiser growth and revenue impact

  • Develop and present plans to unlock incremental growth

  • Optimize spend allocation across channels and goals

  • Direct the development of channel-specific creative strategies in partnership with Creative teams to drive performance across paid and owned channels

  • Establish measurement and reporting frameworks to track channel and team performance, using data-driven insights to guide iteration and resource allocation

  • Advocate the adoption of AI-driven tools and workflows within the team

Skills/Competencies

  • Requires a minimum of 17 years of related experience; or a minimum of 15 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience.

  • Deep expertise in online and B2B enterprise marketing, including digital demand generation, account-based marketing (ABM), and integrated marketing strategy development.

  • Proven ability to guide, mentor, and develop global teams across regions and functional areas.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, build alignment, and collaborate effectively within complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Excellent analytical skills with experience using data and insights to drive strategic decision-making and campaign optimization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations and cross-functional communication.

  • Experience working across global markets and cultures, with a track record of driving measurable business and marketing results.
