Job summary

Director, Grants Management

Job Overview
The Ruth and Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is actively seeking a Director of Grants Management. The Director will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and facilitating the project development, reporting, administration, and writing of all grants received by JFS to support our programs. This includes developing proposals and budgets, requesting and organizing information from program managers, facilitating reporting to each funder as required, managing any grant issues directly with the funder, and managing any sub-contracted grants to outside consultants, collaborating organizations, and/or other JFS staff.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least seven years of experience and a proven track record in grant management and reporting, preferably in a non‑profit environment. Knowledge of government and non‑government grant programs preferred.
  • Highly organized and able to work effectively with others under time constraints and pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Able to analyze data related to grant reporting, with strong writing and proofreading/editing skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and AI tools to enhance data analysis, streamline processes, and optimize grant management workflows.
  • Proactive, logical, and professional in a fast‑paced, demanding environment.
