Invited is seeking a Director of Golf Course Maintenance in McKinney, TX to lead the Golf Course and Clubhouse Grounds Maintenance Departments. You will oversee turf care, materials, chemical maintenance, and asset management to ensure top-tier course conditions.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff hiring and development, and enforcing safety and regulatory compliance. A bilingual English/Spanish ability is preferred to serve a diverse member base and staff.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in Golf Course Maintenance management.
• Minimum 2-year College Agronomy Degree.
• Pesticide applicator license and knowledge of regulatory requirements preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares annual budget and manages expenses, forecasting, and labor.
• Directs agronomic program to maintain high-quality golf course and clubhouse grounds.
• Hires, trains, and develops staff while ensuring safety compliance with OSHA and club policies.
• Collaborates with Members, Employees, and guests to foster positive relationships.

Job Summary

The Director of Golf Course Maintenance is responsible for successfully operating the Golf Course and Clubhouse Grounds Maintenance Departments. Programs for turf/grass, material and chemical maintenance, and asset management are critical to this role's success.

Day-to-Day

• Prepares annual budget and achieves financial goals throughout the year through proper forecasting, expense controls, and labor management.
• Provide agronomic direction to maintain the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times.
• Responsible for hiring, training, and developing all staff.
• Ensures the staff works within OSHA, Club safety, and state and federal guidelines for safe working conditions.

About You

• 3 – 5 years experience in Golf Course Maintenance management.
• Minimum 2-year College Agronomy Degree.
• Pesticide Applicators License.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and recordkeeping as required by local, state, and federal laws.
• Team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employees, and guests.
• Bilingual (English - Spanish) communication ability preferred.
