Job summary

Warner Music Group is seeking a RTR Global Product Owner to centrally manage the global Record-to-Report processes within GBS. You’ll drive adoption, ensure standards, and partner with regional centers to deliver disciplined, scalable RTR capabilities.

Reporting to the SVP Finance Operations, you will lead global product owners, oversee system performance, manage data integrity, and champion continuous improvement across multiple entities and currencies.

Qualifications

  • Experience designing financial processes and improving end-to-end RTR.
  • Strong change-management theory and practice.
  • Ability to manage global stakeholders across multiple entities and regions.
  • Experience coordinating with remote teams and global delivery centers.
  • Knowledge of centralized service centers supporting financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of functional Global Product Owners and escalate issues to SVP Finance Operations.
  • Oversee RTR system performance from a functional perspective and manage resources.
  • Ensure integration points between existing systems and processes are functioning.
  • Identify best practices to improve end-to-end RTR processes and data quality.
  • Update and maintain process flows and master data integrity.

Job Title:

Director, RTR - Global Process Owner

A little bit about our team:

GBS Process Owner, RTR is a key member of our Global Business Services team. Reporting to the VP of Operations, GBS, you will be responsible for managing the intake of new work into our global business services platform. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills to handle complex projects from M&A integration to migration of work from local finance to the GBS team. The will be a critical liaison between our M&A deal team, business stakeholders, and the GBS delivery teams, ensuring clear communication, proper scope definition, and appropriate sizing of delivery teams tasked with migration or integration of new activities or business units.

Your role:

Reporting to theSVP Finance Operations, the RTR Global Product Owner (GPO) will centrally manage theglobal Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. The GPO will be responsible for ensuring new process adoption and maturity, consistency, and that standards are met across the regional Global Business Service (GBS) Centers.

Here you’ll get to:
  • Lead a team of functional Global Product Owners escalating issues or concerns to the SVP Finance Operations
  • Oversee system performance from a functional process owner perspective and manage functional and technical resources responsible for the system
  • Ensure integration points between existing systems and processes are functioning
  • Review and resolve issues, risks and business impacts for all RTR processes
  • Proactively and on and on-going basis identify internal and external best practices that will enable improvement of the standard end-to-end process
  • Update and maintain process flows
  • Manage system update delivery
  • Own master data and maintain data integrity
  • Lead ongoing Subject Matter Resource (SMR) engagement
  • Update and validate learning content (WalkMe, ILT, Reference Guides, etc.)
  • Support training delivery
  • Manage policy updates
  • Act as a change ambassador
About you:
  • Knowledge of and experience with SAP
  • Background in centralized service centers supporting financial operations for multiple legal entities spanning several business groups, regions, countries, languages, currencies, etc.
  • Knowledgeable on change management theory and practice
  • Demonstrated skills in financial process design, trouble-shooting and continuous improvement, especially in the area of record-to-report
  • Stakeholder engagement and management skills with an ability to build global support within complex, multi-faceted organizations around a long-term vision
  • Works well autonomously and as part of a time to accomplish objectives and generate deliverables in-line with the overall GBS vision and goals
  • Experience of working with remote teams across multiple locations

#LI-Remote Salary Range: $160,000- $170,000 Annually Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
