Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience with leadership of regulatory policy or asset-facing external engagement.
• Deep expertise in global drug development and regulatory strategy with application of policy to asset decisions across programs.
• Strong ability to translate complex regulatory issues into clear recommendations.
• Proven track record working across regions and functions in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound judgment in external engagement.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy, operating model, priorities, standards, and performance of Global Regulatory Asset Policy.
• Provide senior policy leadership to therapeutic area units, regulatory leads, strategists, and product teams on asset and portfolio issues.
• Deploy asset policy expertise according to portfolio need, milestones, risk, and enterprise impact.
• Ensure Global Regulatory Asset Policy maintains deep US policy expertise and builds EU/global capability.
• Translate asset challenges into regulatory precedent, intelligence, legislation, pilots, and advocacy opportunities.
• Partner with regional policy leads so asset strategies reflect local health authority expectations.
• Collaborate with the Head of Global R&D Policy to integrate asset and enterprise policy as a single system.
• Establish intake, prioritization, assignment, quality, impact measurement, and closure standards; coach and develop the asset policy team.
