Job summary

Quetzal Therapeutics is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead integrated development plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage timelines across NDA filings and launch activities. The role requires deep drug development knowledge and proven leadership in a fast-paced biotech environment.

You will partner with Clinical Operations, Regulatory, CMC, and QA to drive risk mitigation, executive communications, and on-time delivery of critical program milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience supporting drug development programs.
• Demonstrated understanding of clinical development and regulatory processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated development plans for Quetzal's development programs.
• Define program strategy with cross-functional teams and translate into executable plans.
• Identify program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies; maintain risk logs.
• Drive cross-functional execution to meet milestones and timelines.
• Support portfolio planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Develop program dashboards and executive-facing reports; communicate status to leadership.
• Coordinate governance meetings and ensure timely reporting and decisions.
