Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is assisting a leading Sacramento, California area manufacturer in recruiting a Director of Global Logistics/Transportation. The role will oversee global transportation networks, warehousing operations, and cost management for a complex supply chain.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and more than a decade of leadership in logistics, with proven experience across ocean, rail, air, truck, and intermodal modes, plus oversight of internal and 3PL warehousing and budgets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, International Business or related field is required.
• 10+ years of progressive logistics, distribution, transportation and/or global supply chain experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience leading global transportation including ocean, rail, air, truck, port and/or intermodal shipping is required.
• Experience overseeing both internal warehousing and third-party warehousing/logistics operations.
• Experience managing logistics budgets with spend at or above $60MM, preferably above.
• People leadership experience in a logistics function.
