Job summary

Aurora Innovation Inc. is seeking a Director of Operations Readiness to own the end-to-end endpoint launch process for new sites and customers.

You will lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, and Finance to ensure launches meet strategic objectives and scale rapidly. The role requires 10+ years in operations or program management, strong budgeting and leadership capabilities, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or program management.
• Proven ability to lead multi-stakeholder, cross-functional projects.
• Experience launching programs, sites, or technology deployments.
• Strong verbal and written communication with executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the master launch plan, timeline, and budget for new endpoint activations.
• Serve as primary liaison between Engineering, Product, Finance, Legal, Government Affairs, and Operations.
• Oversee selection, training, and deployment of senior operations teams.
• Identify risks, implement mitigation, and ensure sites achieve target volume and stability.
• Provide regular updates to executives on launch status, budget, and KPIs.
