Fitch Group seeks a Director in the Global Infrastructure Complex Credit Group based in New York to lead analysis of complex transactions across US/Canada and EMEA. The role entails developing rating criteria, engaging with senior stakeholders, and delivering insightful credit opinions in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; advanced degree a plus.
• 7+ years in capital markets or credit analysis.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent modelling skills and spreadsheet-based financial models.
• Ability to read and comprehend complex structures and to ask probing questions to issuers and advisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead ratings analysis and research on complex transactions; evaluate innovative credit structures.
• Identify and research trends; assess credit impact and prepare reports.
• Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data and legal documents for ratings and reports.
• Collaborate with other Fitch groups to develop rating approaches for bespoke projects.
• Meet with senior management, investment bankers and advisers to produce ratings for publication.
• Represent Fitch at conferences, webinars, issuer meetings and media engagements.
• Develop relationships with other Fitch analytical groups to ensure consistency and efficient execution of transactions.
