Job summary

Boldyn Networks is seeking a Director of Cyber Operations to lead global security operations with a blend of hands-on delivery and strategic leadership. You’ll set the operating model, drive automation, and oversee 24x7 monitoring, detection, and response across markets.

You will manage internal teams and MSSPs, own incident response end‑to‑end, and drive improvements through metrics and runbooks. Extensive Azure security and threat-hunting expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 24x7 security operations and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of Azure security, cloud and network architectures.
• Proven ability to govern MSSPs and drive automation with SOAR.

Responsibilities

• Own the global Cyber Operations operating model and ensure effective 24x7 monitoring and response across markets/environments.
• Act as operational owner for monitoring, logging, detection, and incident management controls; ensure design, operation, validation, and audit evidence.
• Set telemetry standards and govern SOC architecture (SIEM/XDR, logging pipelines, case management).
• Own detection engineering and SOAR automation outcomes: use‑case lifecycle and automation at scale to reduce alert fatigue and improve MTTR.
• Provide hands‑on escalation support and threat hunting as needed.
• Own incident response end‑to‑end: define severity/escalation, lead major incidents, and drive PIRs and root‑cause analysis.
• Govern MSSP performance: service reviews, KPIs/SLAs, and continual improvement actions.
