Job summary

Yahoo seeks a Director of Corporate Accounting to lead global corporate accounting activities. You will manage Cap labor capitalization, lease assets, and high-volume expenditures, while guiding a four-person team through monthly and quarterly closes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will partner with FP&A, HR, Legal, and Procurement to optimize processes, improve controls, and drive automation, including AI tools, across accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
• CPA required for this role.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management in large public companies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee non-personnel expense accounting (Capex labor, accruals, legal, etc.).
• Lead monthly and quarterly close with SOX controls and GAAP compliance.
• Mentor a team of accounting professionals and drive process automation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, HR, Legal, Procurement for forecasting and controls.
• Advance AI and automation to enhance efficiency and reporting.
