Job summary

GlaxoSmithKline seeks a Clinical Operations Asset Lead in the United States to own asset-level delivery across the full lifecycle. You will collaborate with clinical, biostatistics, and functional experts to set and execute program-level operational strategy ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes.

This role spans early and late phase work, leading resourcing, vendor oversight, risk management and governance within Global Clinical Operations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in general science or life/health related science required.
• Extensive portfolio-level strategic experience leading complex clinical programs.
• Expertlevel experience in end-to-end clinical development and regulatory landscape.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and Integrated Evidence Plan (IEP).
• Ensure study designs are feasible, regionally compliant, cost-effective, and high-quality.
• Provide protocol-level operational input and support amendments through governance review.
• Lead asset-level resourcing strategy (in-house vs outsourced) and vendor oversight.
• Serve as escalation point for operational, quality, and GCP issues; ensure inspection readiness.
